Raphaël is a partner within the tax department and has over 12 years of experience. He has focused on indirect tax issues (specifically value added tax (VAT), customs duties and insurance premium tax) across various industries, including the financial, real estate, commercial and industrial sectors. Together with another two VAT partners, he leads a group of 30 professionals specialised in this area.
Raphaël is a member of the Luxembourg institute of chartered accountants (OEC), a member of the COBMA indirect tax commission (overseen by the CSSF) and Luxembourg representative at VAT club meetings (committee of EU VAT specialists).
Raphaël has a finance degree from the Institut Commercial de Nancy (ICN), a corporate legal consulting degree (DJCE), a specialised postgraduate degree (diplôme d’études supérieures spécialisées) in tax and commercial law from the University of Nancy II (France). He has also a certificate of specialisation in commercial law.
He is fluent in French, English, Spanish and Italian.
