Partner - Tax - International Tax
Sven Oberle joined Deloitte & Touche GmbH in January 2002. Before joining Deloitte he studied Business Administration at the University of Wurzburg. The topics were Business taxation, Auditing and Economic planning.
In 1999 Sven passed his tax advisor exam and in 2002 his examination as a chartered accountant. He brings more than 19 years of professional experience in national and international taxation. He is responsible for tax advisory services for family owned companies. His function includes the tax advisory concerning national and international tax issues for shareholders/partners of private owned companies, wealthy individuals including family offices as well as national foundations and trusts. Sven is the partner in charge for Deloitte’s Competence Center Family Office Services in Germany.
Sven has a comprehensive experience in tax issues related to collectables like art, vintage cars, yachts etc. He is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences dealing with art, luxury goods etc.
Before Sven joined Deloitte, he provided tax advisory services and auditing services for corporations and partnerships, including companies with focus on tax advantaged purposes, as well as individuals, particularly partners of family owned companies.
Since July 01, 2005 Sven is Tax Partner in the Frankfurt Office’s tax department.
Sven has published several articles on international and national tax law including publications in nationwide newspapers. Furthermore, Sven is the co-editor of the magazine “wir”, an exclusive magazine for family owned companies and their family members. He is a frequent speaker at national and international tax seminars.
Sven is a member of the tax board at the chamber of industry and commerce Frankfurt/Main, the task force “Family Business” at the Institution of Chartered Accountants, the “German Wirtschaftsprüferkammer”, the “German Institut der Wirtschaftsprüfer” and the “Steuerberaterkammer Hessen” as well as of the internal international tax task force “Private Company Services”.
