Lou is a partner within the advisory and consulting department and has over 15 years of experience within the financial industry, gained in Luxembourg, London, Frankfurt and Paris. Lou joined Deloitte in November 2001 as director in the investment management services department, where he currently heads up the compliance and regulatory practice, which consists of 40 experienced individuals. Since 1 June 2005, he has been a partner within the enterprise risk services/investment management practice.
Lou is co-founder of the Luxembourg compliance officer association (ALCO), serving as Vice President since April 2003. He has been a member of the Luxembourg investment fund association (ALFI) board since 2009.
Before joining Deloitte, he was head of legal and compliance at Allianz Asset Management. Before Allianz, Lou was in charge of Fidelity Investments’ continental European compliance operations, based out of Luxembourg.
He is fluent in Luxembourgish, English, French and German.
