Michael is a directeur within the advisory and consulting department and has over 17 years of professional experience. He is specialised in banking and FSP services, where he has been managing numerous internal audit and ISAE 3402 / SSAE 16 (formerly SAS 70) assignments for various clients. His areas of expertise include internal audit, internal control and enterprise risk management.
Michael started his professional career as an auditor at Ernst & Young. Before joining Deloitte, he headed the internal audit function of two mid-size Luxembourg banking institutions.
He is a chartered accountant (Expert comptable).
Michael has a masters in finance and European economic area (DESS) from the Université Nancy 2 (Nancy, France) and a masters in management (finance option) from the ESG Business School (Paris, France).
He is fluent in French and English.
