Laurent is a partner and is our Luxembourg business risk services leader as well as our Enterprise Risk Services leader for the Financial Services Industry across the Europe Middle-East Africa (EMEA) region.
He has been one of Deloitte’s business risk leaders of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region since 2005, and is a member of the Deloitte Global Governance and Risk Management Council.
Since 1998, Laurent has been providing services in his areas of expertise, including governance, risk management, internal audit, internal control and regulatory compliance to a wide range of industries.
Laurent is also actively involved in several professional bodies in Luxembourg but also at a global level. He is a member of the board of directors of the Luxembourg Risk Management Association (ALRIM), a member of the board of directors of the Luxembourg Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), an international committee member of the Global IIA and a member of the Luxembourg Investment Fund Association (ALFI) operational risk working group.
Laurent holds a masters in management from the Ecole de Hautes Etudes Commerciales du Nord (EDHEC) Business School (Lille, France), is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA®) and also holds a Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA).
He is fluent in French and English.
