Barbara Michaelis

Barbara is a partner within the audit department and joined Deloitte Luxembourg in 1986. She has 12 years of experience as a partner in the auditing of investment funds, investment management companies, financial sector professionals and real estate funds.

Her experiences cover external audits, due diligence assignments and advisory assignments, legal and regulatory requirements for investment funds and financial sector professionals.

Barbara is a registered auditor (Réviseur d’Entreprises agréé).

She is a member of the Luxembourg institute of registered auditors (IRE) and the professional examination board. She is also very active in roadshows with the Luxembourg investment fund industry association (ALFI) and Luxembourg For Finance.

Barbara is fluent in French, German, English, and Luxembourgish.
