Nicolas is a partner within the audit department and has over 13 years of professional experience.
He has specialised in financial services, and more specifically in investment funds: UCITS, hedge funds, alternative funds and specialized investment funds (SIF).
His main clients to date include large asset manager houses as well as smaller boutiques from the Australian, Belgian, French, Italian, UK, Swiss US and local markets.
He is the leader of our SIF taskforce as well as of our Sustainability initiative in Luxembourg.
He is an active member of ALFI, specifically in the UCITS VI Steering Committee, the Responsible Investing Committee, the LuxFLAG Environment Label Working Group and the Luxembourg Impact Investing Platform Working Group.
Nicolas started his professional career in a Luxembourg Big4 and specialised in auditing local and international financial services companies.
From 2001 to 2004, he took a three-year secondment in Australia to deepen his international investment management knowledge.
Nicolas has a master degree in business affairs (Ingénieur commercial) and a postgraduate degree in analysis, controls and auditing from the HEC-Ulg, Université de Liège (Liège, Belgium).
He is also a registered auditor (Réviseur d’entreprises agréé) and a Chartered accountant (Expert comptable) in Luxembourg.
He is fluent in French and English, speaks Spanish and has basic knowledge in Dutch.
