New appointment with Deloitte global network: Dirk Dewitte appointed Deloitte EMEA Chinese Services Group Leader
Dirk Dewitte, tax partner at Deloitte Luxembourg has been appointed leader of the EMEA Chinese Service Group within the Deloitte global network across the Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
In his new role, Dirk’s focus will be to coordinate the market development activities in China and reinforce Deloitte’s readiness to serve Chinese clients, ensuring the mobilisation of EMEA member firms on identified business opportunities. In addition, he will coordinate and develop the community of the China experts in the Deloitte EMEA member firms and further foster the business relationship between China and EMEA. The aim is to seize transaction opportunities flowing into the EMEA region, through relationships and cooperation.
Dirk Dewitte has over 20 years of experience in the tax department at Deloitte Luxembourg; he was Head of International Tax and has built the Luxembourg desk in Hong Kong and New York in his previous position as European Chinese Services Group Leader.
