Deloitte presents the 2013 Link’n Learn training programme - 08/01/2013DOWNLOAD
Deloitte Luxembourg has published its new “Link’n Learn” programme for 2013, offering industry experts and all other interested parties a series of 26 interactive online training sessions covering the most promising topics in the Investment Management industry.
Unsurprisingly, some sessions will focus on risk, anti-money laundering as well as the numerous regulatory updates including the AIFM Directive. In addition, several sessions will be dedicated to tax related topics, for which an in-depth knowledge and understanding are key to achieving an optimal cross-border promotion of Luxembourg domiciled investment funds.
“As in previous years, we have prepared this programme to provide financial industry experts across the globe with the latest information on forthcoming regulatory developments and their impact on their business, together with the opportunity to share best practices to help professionals overcome these challenges.” declares Vincent Gouverneur, Deloitte EMEA Investment Management Leader and partner in Luxembourg. “We have also included a wide range of introductory sessions, especially designed for the more junior professionals with no specific expertise or specialisation. Our objectives are to share our knowledge and help gain a clear insight into the complex and fascinating world of investment management at the same time”, he adds.
Today, the qualities of both speakers and the discussion content have made Link’n Learn a worldwide success. In 2012, the webinars saw over 25,000 logins from almost 240 companies participating from more than 30 countries.
The webinars, which are now in their fourth year, can be accessed by simply logging onto the Deloitte website. Participants and trainers interactively share the same visual universe with trainers answering participants’ questions live, through chat. As in a conventional seminar, participants are surveyed afterwards to provide feedback on the webinar. Afterwards, a recorded version of the session is freely accessible to all on Deloitte’s website.
More information on the programme and details of how to subscribe to the webinars is available on Deloitte Luxembourg’s website under www.deloitte.com/lu/link-n-learn
