Private Equity confidence survey. The new normal

Welcome to the latest edition of the Deloitte Central Europe Private Equity Confidence survey – the latest instalment in the private equity story of the last nine years, during which the survey has plotted all the changes in outlook and sentiment of the region’s PE professionals throughout a turbulent period of highs and lows.

This edition of the survey is a significant one, charting the cautious recovery of some optimism and stability following the abrupt and decisive change of sentiment in November 2011. There are many parameters within the survey where our respondents have in general moderated the negativity that they expressed last autumn to suggest some return of optimism. Further talking to PE practitioners regularly I think there is the feeling that there are more deals around.
