The following are just some of our clients who we have helped navigate through stormy waters:
In 2007, Deloitte successfully completed a project to cut costs, increase operational efficiency and optimize the organizational structure of the bank. The result of the project was a significant decrease in the bank’s expenses.
In December 2008, Deloitte CIS completed a project to identify operational and administrative changes which could enhance the efficiency of activities at an oilfield. The aim of the project was to make savings which could then be used to extend the economic life of the field. The resulting savings amounted to around USD 30 million.
In February 2009, Deloitte completed a working capital management optimization project. The aim of the project was to redesign and formalize company business processes (planning, sales, purchasing, inventory management, budgeting and others), for better management of working capital and transparency of sales/purchasing functions. Currently, the company is successfully implementing changes alongside the Deloitte project management office.
In December 2008, Deloitte CIS completed a project which both developed a strategy for the recovery of input VAT incurred in the course of construction and analyzed documents supporting VAT recovery. The aims of the project were twofold: to ensure that input VAT does not become a non-recoverable cost for the company and to improve cash-flow as a result of accelerated VAT reimbursement from the budget. The amount of input VAT recovery subject to Deloitte review exceeded USD 15 million.
