Planning and budgeting

(Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting, OEPB)

OEPB is a solution that allows companies to manage the planning and budgeting process.  Users can configure business planning processes based on their needs. Also, users can easily reconfigure existing business processes or, if needed, create new ones.  The user can always check the status of the entire business process or each individual task.
While the business process is configured, the system also defines the regulations for budget creation, approval and correction so that each action made during the planning process has a person responsible for it.  The process is routed automatically: data collection, notifications to users at the time of data sending and the sending of data to senior executives for approval.  Approval can be bottom-up, top-down or a mixed type.

 Multidimensional analysis
The system offers users broad modeling and analysis options. With this solution, the company can use different planning and forecasting methods, analyze various options and prepare multidimensional analytical reports. With enhanced formatting functionalities including conventional color encoding and various data sorting methods, the user can easily perform analyses.

 Communication tool
Planning is made easier with instructions and comments, as well as notifications automatically generated by the system or configured by the user.

 Security
Secure data access is ensured by the distribution of user permissions according to their roles and by configuring the access permissions to different analytical dimensions (directories) or particular reports, folders and other objects.

 Multiple data sources
The product is directly integrated with the Oracle General Ledger. The system also allows for the import of data from other data sources.  If needed, reports and lists for data input can be exported to Microsoft Excel. A data list filled in on Microsoft Excel can be imported back to the system with all the input data.
