On the 25th of July 2010, the firm held a professional round table on the topic of ERM- Enterprise Risk Management. The audience included risk managers, compliance officers and legal counselors from all major investment houses in Israel.
Among the speakers of the event were: Mr. Yosi Levie, regulator of the Israeli Stock Exchange members, Mr. Dan Halpern, partner, Leader of the Financial Services Industry and head of the Risk Management Group in Deloitte Brightman Almagor Zohar and Mr. Amir Rosin, Risk Manager, Vice CRO of Discount Bank.
The topics discussed in the round table included: the risks for investment houses and the regulation to mitigate it, ERM methodology and a case study of Discount Bank handling the challenges of risk management.
