Abstract
Our client needed to develop an IT Security function to support the increasing internal and external IT threats.
Challenge
The team needed to quickly respond to the IT Security needs of the client and to support numerous aspects of their business IT landscape.
Approach
This work included support in respect of:
- Security Management from ground up
- IT Security policies, standards and procedures gap analysis, review and development
- The third key area of our work related to change controls. We assessed the nature and quality of the controls in place to govern systems development and change management across all the platforms and applications in use. This included an examination of the authorisation procedures, the testing programs and the IT and business management sign-off process
Solution
Our work provides for the fast tracking of an information security group and allows for the ongoing management of the information security function within our clients.
