IT strategy
Our proven and robust approach to IT strategy and development is supported by sample deliverables, methodology, points of views and benchmarks. It allows organisations to confirm their baseline IT strategy and implement a continuous planning and review cycle. It considers the IT organisation in terms of enterprise architecture, governance and risk, portfolio and financial, organisation and supply.

Rapid Strategy is a variant of our method that uses proven tools, templates and references to enable a full IT strategy or targeted IT strategic advice to be produced within a much shorter time scale than the traditional method, when needs dictate.

Our team is fully aware of emergent concepts such as Cloud Computing, Web 2.0 and software as a service. Importantly, we also understand the business applicability, strengths, weaknesses and costs of these areas.

Programme and portfolio management
An organisation’s portfolio of projects must be aligned with its strategy. Portfolio management techniques provide a single view of all significant current and planned initiatives. This can help through: realignment of objectives; and business case prioritising of programmes, projects and resources. Many of our project management practitioners are PRINCE II and PMI certified.

Our method for portfolio management brings structure and rigour to the management of all initiatives within an organisation. It is supported by a suite of advanced tools that can be configured to baseline and track the entire portfolio, focusing on prioritisation, costs and benefits tracking through the life of the project and beyond.

Technology sourcing
To achieve long term growth, companies need to develop, protect and leverage their core competencies. We help with examining the cost and service levels of current IT sourcing, evaluating options, negotiating contracts and executing decisions.

General IT advisory services
We offer a number of complementary, discrete IT Advisory services for clients. They include:

  • Assessment and due diligence: aimed at either current IT leaders looking to best leverage investments or a potential suitor seeking to understand IT as an asset or a liability to the acquisition
  • Systems specification and selection - we offer a comprehensive specification and selection of IT systems service
  • System testing and validation - we act as independent functional testers responsible for fully testing systems and applications that have been developed by third parties for our clients
