About the survey
The objective of this survey is to measure the pulse of IT departments in Irish organisations, to understand how they are meeting business demands by leveraging emerging technologies and to understand how CIOs are leading the transformation to a digital future.
We also take a look back at themes that emerged in previous surveys to understand how CIOs are achieving more with fewer resources and how budgets and priorities have changed.
The online survey took place in July 2012. CIOs and Heads of IT participated across a range of industries including the public sector, financial services, consumer business, manufacturing
and health.
The participating organisations ranged in size from those with fewer than 250 employees, to those with more than 2,000. The combined annual turnover of participants is in excess of €70 billion.
