Deloitte appoints two new partners |

Deloitte, the leading business advisory firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of two new partners. Brian Jackson and Donal Lehane, previously directors with the firm, have been appointed partners in the firm’s audit and consulting practices respectively.

Commenting on the new partner appointments, Brendan Jennings, Managing Partner, Deloitte said: “I would like to offer my congratulations to both Brian and Donal on their recent appointment to partner. Their wealth of financial services industry experience has enabled them to make a substantial contribution to the firm over the last number of years. Both Brian and Donal work with clients at a strategic level providing tailored solutions to meet their business needs. They have extensive experience in the financial services industry – one which has gone through many challenges, but also has a number of growth opportunities. I am confident that they will continue to play an important part in helping our clients achieve their business and growth objectives.”
Brian Jackson
Brian is a partner within Deloitte’s financial services audit group, specialising in the provision of audit and advisory services to clients in the investment management sector.
Brian joined the firm in 2002 and has over 10 years’ experience in the financial services sector both in Ireland and the UK. Brian specialises in working with funds and their service providers operating in the alternative and traditional fund sectors. Brian has substantial experience in areas of IFRS and US GAAP accounting and has played a key role in the development of Deloitte’s investment management advisory practice.
Brian holds a degree in Finance from University College Cork and a Masters in Accounting from University College Dublin and is a member of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
Donal Lehane
Donal is a partner in Deloitte’s consulting practice, specialising in the provision of consulting and advisory services to clients in the financial services sector.
A director with the firm since 2006, Donal has substantial experience of working with banking and insurance companies, both in Ireland and internationally. His breadth of experience has developed through working with these companies on strategy and operations assignments and he has led a number of large scale transformation initiatives within the sector.
Donal holds a Masters in Business Administration (Finance) from Fordham University, New York and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
