Independent research firm recognises Deloitte as a leader among business technology transformation services providers |

Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited (DTTL) is pleased to announce today that the Deloitte global network was recognised as a leader among organisations offering business technology transformation services by technology global research and advisory firm Forrester Research Inc., in its report The Forrester Wave™: Business Technology Transformation, Q3 2012.
The network of Deloitte member firms (Deloitte) is cited in the Forrester report for its deep vertical and business consulting capabilities complemented by very strong technology competency. According to the report, Deloitte also has the ability to drive large-scale wholesale transformation engagements. Additionally, Deloitte’s client references were mentioned as among the best received for the research.
Eighteen (18) criteria are used to identify which consultants can best help clients envision and execute on their business transformation imperatives. Deloitte received the highest scores possible in 17 of the 18 criteria rated.
Forrester summarised the differentiators in the rankings of top providers, which includes Deloitte, by observing that “leaders are differentiated by level of business acumen and the ability to effectively communicate with business stakeholders and sponsors. The provider needs credibility with both business and IT and the ability to act as a diplomat aligning the two core groups. Deloitte is cited as clearly understanding and operating at the intersection of business and technology. Deloitte’s approach to business technology transformation is recognised and cited as illustrating an exemplary understanding of Fortune 500 client business and technology needs.”
