Ongoing changes in accounting legislation and the requirement of proper accounting treatment of innovative transactions deriving from changing business activities represent a constant challenge. Our team of local and international experts has up-to-date knowledge and is able to inform our clients about any newly adopted laws, or bills.
In addition to advice on the Hungarian Accounting Act, we are experienced in the introduction and practical implementation of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) reporting since we are providing technical assistance to several companies in the region. According to our clients’ needs, we regularly organize customized IFRS training courses for our clients’ staff concentrating either on the comprehensive IFRS framework or on particular complex areas (e.g., financial instruments, deferred taxes, acquisitions, etc.).
We are widely experienced in the appropriate accounting treatment of hedge transactions (Hedge accounting). We help our clients prepare the complete documentation of hedge transactions, ensure consultation on the preparation of the documents, perform a preliminary review of documents drafted by clients, offer advice on a more effective way of preparing documents, and hold IFRS and US-GAAP training courses on hedge transactions, which integrate the treasury/business and accounting approaches for the treasury and accounting experts of our clients.
