Make sure you don't miss the exhibition of István Nádler, turning 70 this year, which opens on the 13th of September as part of the fall program of Virág Judit Galéria and the Auction House. Nádler is an exceptional figure in the now legendary generation of artists of the 60s. His works clearly reflect the artistic trends of the era in question, and he isn't afraid to employ bold avantgarde methods. The characteristics of the shapes he uses depict a vanguard artist, while being true to some of his essential stylistic features. The landmarks of his career include a number of honours: he is a Distinguished Artist of the Republic of Hungary and holds the Kossuth Prize, amongst others. His works are some of the most expensive paintings sold at contemporary auctions. The exhibition is open until 4 October, therefore we advise you to save the date without delay. A special event awaits you if you visit the gallery on the 20th of September as from 6pm István Nádler will personally guide our guests through his paintings.
