Deloitte’s volunteers spent time with children from Caritas |
More than a hundred Deloitte’s volunteers joined the protégées from Caritas’ homes for children without proper parental care and went to the movies, continuing their friendship which started last year. At that occasion, Deloitte donated nine computers for Caritas’ protégées to learn and play with.
In this action Deloitte Croatia joined the global volunteering project called Impact day, which is organized since 2000, and in Croatia since 2006. After the great success of last year’s action, when Deloitte’s volunteers and children from Caritas went to the ZOO, this year they’ve organized visit to the movies, according to the wishes of children who consider going to the movies a very special event.
Deloitte’s volunteers hope that their actions will contribute towards greater development of culture of volunteering and corporate social responsibility.
