The list of Top 500 companies from 18 Central European countries has been compiled on the basis of their revenue from sales in 2009. Besides the general Top 500 list, Deloitte has created the lists of Top 50 banks and Top 50 insurance companies in the region.
On this year’s CE Top 500 list, published by Deloitte, 16 Croatian companies secured their place among leading regional firms, which is visibly improved result in comparation to last year, when we had 11 representatives. Same as the last year, Agrokor remains the best positioned Croatian company. This year, the group managed to get to excellent 18th place, which is 7 places better than last year. Regarding FSI, Zagrebačka banka won a place among the Top 10 banks in CE, while Croatia osiguranje remains the strongest Croatian insurance company.
