The European Commission amends the additional duty rate on imports of certain products from the United States (Byrd-Amendment)

The United States failure to bring the Continued Dumping and Subsidy Offset Act (Byrd-Amendment) in compliance with its obligations under the WTO agreements resulted in 2005 in an imposed 15% ad valorem additional duty (Regulation (EC) 673/2005) on imports of certain products from the United States. As of 1 May 2012 the additional duty rate is adjusted and set at 6%
