After the initiation of the anti-subsidy procedure on 25 November 2011, the European Commission concluded there was enough evidence to make imports of bioethanol subject to registration. The European Commission instructed the Customs authorities to register the imports of bioethanol from the United States by means of Regulation 771/2012 (EC).
