This Global Rewards Update addresses the transitional guidance released by the Australian Federal Government with respect to awards granted prior to 1 July 2009. Specifically, we have highlighted those aspects of both the current law, and the new law, that will apply where taxation of those awards is deferred to 1 July 2009 or after.
