The India Budget was presented in Parliament on 6 July 2009 and covered India’s 1 April 2009 through 31 March 2010 tax year. The budget seeks to amend various provisions of the Income Tax Act. One of the key changes proposed is the abolition of the Fringe Benefit tax (FBT).
