Deloitte wins Americas Tax Awards |
New York, NY, 28 September 2012—Deloitte member firms in North and Latin America received top regional honors at the seventh annual International Tax Review (ITR) Americas Tax Awards, held on 27 September in New York. Individual Deloitte member firms and member firm tax practices were also recognized. Collectively, Deloitte member firms received eight prestigious awards for work in tax, transfer pricing, tax disputes and indirect tax.
Deloitte member firms in the Americas received the Indirect Tax Team and Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year awards, while member firms in Latin America were given the prize for Indirect Tax Team of the Year.
Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year awards were given to Deloitte members firms in Mexico, LATCO (Peru) and United States (New York), while Deloitte LATCO’s Venezuela office received the Tax Firm of the Year award, and, for the second consecutive year, the Tax Disputes Firm of the Year award.

Awards were presented across 17 jurisdictions, including Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, Venezuela, Chicago, the Houston and Dallas (Texas) areas, Los Angeles, New York, the San Francisco (California) area, and Washington, D.C. Awards were given to the tax practices that demonstrated examples of the most innovative client work in North and South America between June 2011 and June 2012.
