IIA 2011 International Conference

IIA Principal PartnerDeloitte member firms were proud to be a sponsor at the 2011 IIA International Conference which took place in Kuala Lumpur (10th to 13th July). This highly regarded, multi-day conference brought over 2,200 internal audit executives together from around the world to discuss issues critical to the profession.

This year’s theme, "Standing Tall", was an ideal launching pad to introduce and debate issues that impact the daily routines of internal audit professionals around the world, no matter the industry or company size. Indeed, internal audit is a key player whose importance grows daily, but yet, is challenged with the ever-increasing complexities of doing business in a global environment. This year’s conference explored approaches, concepts, and success stories and were delivered by internal audit professionals who have real-time experience making it happen.
