Working in analytics is a great fit for me because I really enjoy seeing the huge potential in underutilized data in different industries.
As the managing partner for the Consulting practice in Finland, I’m responsible for leading the daily business as well as ensuring that we have the competencies to deliver value to our clients by leveraging the full strength of Deloitte. I also lead our Technology Advisory practice and work with clients in various areas related to utilizing IT to the fullest. This also includes Information Management and Analytics.
Coincidentally, I decided to study computer science after getting a job in operating mainframes. After a short period in Research & Development I wanted to get closer to clients in a consulting role. I have now worked in IT-related management consulting for more than 15 years.
The IT industry is constantly evolving and I have been lucky to work in many industries including public sector, retail and media. Recently, I was involved in using technology to enable major transformations in the media sector as it undergoes a major shift from traditional to digital media.
My most memorable project has been working for the past five years on a project to transform a client’s IT landscape and operating model.
I believe our breadth of capabilities and ability to bring them together is unmatched in the marketplace. This includes understanding the content and interrelations of technology, risks and forensics.
