My strong analytics capability and qualifications make a career in data analytics a natural choice for me. Throughout my career I have focused onl risk and finance analytics in the banking and manufacturing industries. I have experience in areas such as bankruptcy prediction and credit rating, Basel II (modelling and validating the IRB), and pricing and profitability analysis.
As an analytics professional, I am fortunate to focus on decision making from data-driven, fact-based analysis that results in solutions that can be applied across industries and functions. My prior work experience and education gave me a great foundation for my career with Deloitte Analytics.
In my current role I develop analytics products, manage analytics-based projects, and introduce the Korean marketplace to the benefits of data analytics and, specifically, Deloitte’s analytics capabilities.
My most memorable project at Deloitte was working on a insolvency prediction project for a large financial institution that required highly advanced analytic modelling developed by the analytics group at Deloitte Korea.
Deloitte stands out in the marketplace because of its strong positioning and reputation as a service provider that specializes in analytics, efficient global networking between Deloitte member firms, and the way Deloitte practitioners create and share best practices.
When I joined Deloitte I never expected to be a part of such fast and strong growth in the analytics area that has facilitated developing a global analytics community in which we can exchange knowledge and experience.
