I love that I can capitalize on my interests while helping clients address their business needs. Data and analysis are two of my passions, and two key elements of the Deloitte Analytics approach of helping clients understand and tackle their business issues.
My background is in information systems and computer science, and I started my professional career as a data solutions architect. In my current role, I work with clients to centralize their data received from multiple sources into a single repository and provide them with reporting tools to view and analyze it.
During my career I’ve worked with clients in multiple industries, such as pharmaceuticals and telecommunications. I found that the industry and specific client issues might be different, but the way we team with clients to get to the root of the issue and offer solutions to address their particular concerns is always at the core of our thinking.
My most memorable project for Deloitte U.S. was working with an international client to implement a business intelligence solution: providing analysis and reporting across the client’s operating regions in the U.S. and Europe. The issue was that the client’s inventory, purchase order, and future spend data were contained in separate SAP systems across locations, and combined datasets required additional time and expense for the client through manual download and manipulation. My role involved identifying which data to incorporate and how the data could be consolidated into one database. What made the project especially significant was that this very demanding client was very impressed and pleased with our work.
