Deloitte wins Oracle PartnerNetwork Specialized Global Applications Partner of the Year Award
Deloitte honored in OPN Specialized Global Award program for second consecutive year
NEW YORK, 28 October 2010 – Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited announced today that it received on behalf of its member firms (Deloitte) an Oracle PartnerNetwork Specialized Global Award in the category of Applications Partner of the Year. This is the second annual Oracle PartnerNetwork Specialized Global Awards program, which recognizes solution innovation from around the world leveraging Oracle products to solve real-world business challenges.
This is also the second consecutive year that a Deloitte entity has been honored with an Oracle PartnerNetwork Specialized Global Award. Deloitte received this year’s award for demonstrating overall excellence and innovation in helping customers meet their business requirements with Oracle applications.
“Receiving the Global Applications Award is the perfect complement to our success last year in winning the Global Technology Award,” said Nidal Haddad, DTTL Global Oracle Alliance leader. “It reflects both the functional strength and technical know-how that are embedded within the Deloitte network’s worldwide Oracle service line. This differentiating combination is critical because it makes Deloitte one of the few organizations capable of delivering end-to-end solutions across Oracle’s entire software and hardware stack. This particular honor for applications also underscores our deep industry knowledge, which allows us to zero in on our customers’ business challenges and to devise solutions that make a real difference.”
The Oracle PartnerNetwork Specialized Global Awards are given by Oracle to its leading solutions providers, recognizing solutions and business practices developed or delivered in fiscal year 2010. These awards commend global solutions provider excellence in a number of categories, including technology, applications, industry, accelerate, and midmarket. Nominations were judged by a renowned team of executives and analysts from around the world. The awards were presented during a special Oracle PartnerNetwork Specialized Global Awards ceremony at Oracle OpenWorld in San Francisco on September 19.
