Deloitte wins European Tax Awards |
New York, 17 May 2012 — Deloitte member firms (Deloitte) received 15 awards at the 8th annual International Tax Review (ITR) European Tax Awards, held 16 May in London. For the second consecutive year, Deloitte received more awards than any other network.
Deloitte member firms collectively received top regional honors, being named the European Transfer Pricing and European Tax Policy regional network of the year. Additionally, Deloitte member firm tax and legal practices in Austria, Luxembourg, Norway, South Africa, and Sweden received Tax Firm of the Year awards, while Deloitte member firm tax and legal practices in Austria, Central Europe (Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovenia, and Slovak Republic), Denmark, Ireland, Norway, Spain, Switzerland, and Turkey were named Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year in their respective jurisdictions.

Leading tax and legal firms from 26 European jurisdictions, plus South Africa, were nominated for the awards. To determine winners, ITR considered submissions made by the participating firms and ITR’s team of journalists undertook detailed research from a variety of sources, including a poll of international tax executives. Awards were given for work performed during the previous 12-month period.
