Deloitte global chairman becomes IBLF trustee

London, November 27, 2007 – John Connolly, chairman of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu and Deloitte UK's chief executive and senior partner, has become a trustee of the International Business Leaders Forum (IBLF).

The International Business Leaders Forum Board of Trustees is comprised of senior private and public sector leaders who advise IBLF on achieving its mission to promote responsible business leadership and partnerships for sustainable development.

Commenting on the appointment, Adrian Hodges, managing director for IBLF said: "Deloitte is a long standing supporter of IBLF and John has a tremendous level of knowledge of the business world. We are very pleased that he has agreed to join our Board of Trustees to help us raise the profile of the positive role that business can play in sustainable development."

John Connolly said, "I'm delighted to join the IBLF Board which works with business, governments and civil society to enhance the contribution that companies can make to sustainable development. As a responsible business, Deloitte in the UK and across member firms around the world, is already playing its part to enhance the communities in which our people work and live.
