Ludo De Keulenaer started his professional career in the audit division of Arthur Andersen in 1976. He became a manager in 1982 and a partner in 1988. By June 2001, he was the managing partner of Andersen Belgium and Luxembourg. After having combined the activities of Andersen with those of the Deloitte member firm in Belgium, Ludo was named Vice CEO in September 2002.
In June 2004, he became the Country Managing Partner of Deloitte's member firm in Belgium. And since June 2005, he has been the CEO of Deloitte Belgium. He also serves as statutory auditor for several Belgian companies, including a number of Belgian banks, financial institutions and industrial and commercial companies. On 1 June 2007, Ludo was named Global Managing Partner, Brand.
Ludo is a member of a number of professional organizations and acts regularly as a guest speaker on accounting, auditing and financial topics.
