Peter Bowie spent 25 years with Deloitte in Canada in various leadership roles. He was Chairman of Deloitte & Touche Canada, a member of the firm's Management Committee and a member of the Board and Governance committees of Deloitte International.
During his tenure as a Group Managing Partner in the Canada member firm, he played a key role in spearheading the firm's strategic direction, targeting market growth through vertical industry programmes and specialisation, and attracting and retaining talent.
Peter has prior industry experience in the telecommunications, semi-conductor and software sectors. He is a Canadian Certified Accountant, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and a holder of Honorary Doctorate from the University of Ottawa.
