Elisabeth Denison joined Deloitte Research in April 2007, leading an initiative to bring global research closer to clients and markets in Germany. Located in Munich, Elisabeth will contribute German and European perspectives to global studies, adapt and tailor research to local needs and support partners in the commercialization of research pieces.
Before joining Deloitte, Elisabeth was vice president and U.S. economist for Dresdner Kleinwort Investment Bank in New York. In her role, Elisabeth has written extensively on economic, socio-political and legislative developments and their strategic impact on the business of internal and external clients. She was quoted frequently by the financial press and appeared regularly in the media, including Nightly Business Report, Bloomberg Radio and TV a.o.
Originally from Austria, Elisabeth worked in Asia for four years (Hong Kong and Singapore), first in the shipping industry and later
in finance. Elisabeth was educated at the Johannes Kepler University of Linz, Austria (Business Administration), the School of Oriental
and African Studies (SOAS) at the University of London (MSc Financial Economics) and holds a PhD in Economics from Austria.
