As total spend on sustainable business in the U.S. has seen an increase of ~US$15 billion from 2010 to 2012, CFO attention to sustainability has accordingly increased. In 2012, 60% of U.S. CFOs expect their role in sustainability strategy to increase in the next two years. Not surprisingly, 60% of the US CFOs expressed that there is a strong link between sustainability performance and financial performance.
