Deloitte Technology Fast 500

Over the past ten years in Asia Pacific, eleven years in EMEA and seventeen years in North America, Deloitte has watched fast-growing technology companies flex their muscle to achieve incredible growth. These companies are on the cutting edge and are transforming the way we do business today.

The fastest growing technology companies in 2011
In North America MAKO Surgical Corp., an orthopedic medical device company based in Fort Lauderdale, Fl., ranked No. 1 on Deloitte's 2011 Technology Fast 500TM. MAKO Surgical Corp.'s fiscal year revenue of $44.29 million and five year fiscal growth rate of 70,211 percent topped this year's ranking.

In EMEA Logic Bilisim secured top spot in the ranking with producing a five-year growth rate of 28,617 percent. Based in Istanbul, Turkey, the firm specializes in providing mobile technology infrastructure. The average five-year revenue growth rate in this year's Deloitte Technology Fast 500 TM EMEA ranking is 20,401 percent for the top five companies and 1,287 percent for the top 500.

In Asia Pacific, Shanghai-based Yihaodian, which provides customers with a one-stop online grocery shopping platform, offering some 120,000 types of essential daily items, grew by 19,218% in revenue over a three year period. Average revenue of the Top 500 firms achieved 476%, a considerable increase from 2010's 374% and 2009's 361%. China continued to dominate the Asia Pacific tech industry, not only topping this year's ranking and delivering three of the Top 5 winners.
