What is the Deloitte CE Technology Fast 50?
The Deloitte CE Technology Fast 50 is one of the most objective rankings for the technology, media and telecommunications industries in Central Europe. It was created to recognize the effort and dedication of those 50 fastest-growing technology companies in Central Europe and includes all areas of technology, including Internet, biotechnology, medical, scientific and computers.

When and why did Deloitte create a Technology Fast 50?
The Central European Technology Fast 50 program is part of a global effort led by Deloitte to identify the leading growth and technology companies all over the world. It grew out of a program initiated in the United States in 1995. In the United States and more recently in Europe, the Fast 50 program has expanded into the Fast 500 and is a recognized benchmark of success in the technology industry. In Central Europe, Deloitte launched its first Technology Fast 50 company ranking in 2000. Furthermore, since award winners likely will continue to grow at a rapid pace and be the source of future technological advances, this Deloitte program recognizes, rewards and raises the profile of the fastest-growing firms not only in Central Europe, but within European context where technology chief executives operate.

How does Deloitte determine the winners?
The 2007 Deloitte CE Technology Fast 50 winners are based on five-year average percentage growth for each technology company. For 2007, companies are ranked on percentage of revenue growth between 2002 and 2006. The 50 that meet the strict definition of "technology companies with the fastest-growth over five years" make the list.
Why is individual company revenue not revealed in the list of winners?
The Deloitte CE Technology Fast 50 ranking is based on the percentage of annual revenue growth. Since some of the winning companies are private organizations and are not required to reveal their revenue under European law, the Fast 50 program is consistent with this custom.
When will winners for the 2007 Deloitte CE Technology Fast 50 be named?
The 2007 Deloitte CE Technology Fast 50 winners awards will be announced at a private, invitation-only executive event on October 15-19 across Central Europe.
