What is the Deloitte Central Europe Technology Fast 50?
Deloitte’s Central Europe Technology Fast 50 programme, now in its 12th year, ranks the fastest-growing technology companies in the region of Central Europe. The Technology Fast 50 programme covers both public and private companies in all areas of technology, from internet specialists to life sciences, computers to semiconductors, and software to telecommunications.
What countries participate in the Central Europe programme?
Companies from the following countries may register: Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, and Slovenia.
Is there a registration fee?
There is no fee to register yourself or a company you represent.
How does Deloitte determine the rankings?
We focus on a company’s growth rate as measured by operating revenue over a five-year period. We do not measure a company’s current financial performance or its profitability.
How many years has the Fast 50 been running?
The Technology Fast 50 was launched in Silicon Valley, California in 1995 and quickly expanded worldwide. The first Central Europe programme was held in 2000.
Where do entries for the competition come from?
The Technology Fast 50 ranking is compiled from registrations submitted directly to Deloitte via the online registration form.
How do companies qualify?

What do companies have to do to enter?
Companies must provide details on their revenues for the past five years (in 2011, for every year from 2006 to 2010), using the online registration form on this website. Companies will also be required to provide hard copies of their accounts in the verification stage for each of the following year-ends: 2006; 2007; 2008; 2009 and 2010. Deloitte assumes that all information provided by each company is accurate and thus does not independently verify such information.
Do all entrants have to be publicly held?
No, but private companies must provide financial information and supporting documentation such as financial statements.
How are winners selected?
The Deloitte Central Europe Technology Fast 50 ranking is calculated based on the percentage of stated annual revenue growth over five years for each technology company. For the 2011 programme, companies are ranked based on the percentage of growth for each company’s stated fiscal year revenues over five years (from 2006 to 2010).
When is the closing deadline for entries?
The deadline for entries is July 8, 2011.
