Meet John Dixon

DTTL Global Sector Leader, Forest, Paper & Packaging

John Dixon has more than 20 years of experience working for and with companies in the process industry. He leads the Global Forest, Paper & Packaging Industry for Deloitte and combines practical experience with a deep understanding of the industry to advise clients on strategic and operational opportunities. He is challenged with growing Deloitte's market position while maintaining relationships with some of our key industry clients.

Prior to joining Deloitte, John was a partner for IBM Global Services, with management responsibility for the Americas, Industrial Products Practice. This organization provided consulting services to the industry segments of Forest & Paper, Metals, Textiles, Mining and Discrete Manufacturing. He was also asked to lead IBM's Industrial Sector Practice for SAP. John was challenged with integrating the PricewaterhouseCoopers acquisition which formed the largest SAP Supply Chain practice in the world.

John worked for Milliken & Co. as a production manager and in professional consulting as a Process Industry and Supply Chain expert, prior to his management positions with IBM.  These experiences have enabled John to develop a deep cross-functional understanding of process manufacturing and how to drive improvements through strategy and business process change.
