The purpose of the survey was to gather information from respondents in the securitisation industry, particularly investors, arrangers, servicers, attorneys, rating agents and trustees, on their perceptions and experience of the level of investor reporting and deal surveillance current occurring the industry. It also compares the level and quality of post-issuance reporting evident from this survey compared with the responses to our first survey in 2004.
The survey was specifically designed to obtain information on those areas that we considered to be important with respect to investor reporting and deal surveillance.
