Share of switchers in the banking population (2012)

We can clearly identify two polarised clusters – one with the highest ratio of switchers (Slovakia and Romania), the other with the lowest (the Czech Republic and Poland). Hungary is in between. The lowest proportion of switchers among the countries is in Poland, where only 12% of customers have ever changed bank. Conversely, the ratio in Slovakia is more than four times higher.
