The 23rd India Economic Summit, a regional event of the World Economic Forum, will take place in New Delhi, India, from December 2–4. Under the theme “Building Centers of Excellence,” the summit will explore the current economic, social and political environment in India, delving into such hot topics as globalization, infrastructure development, risk, healthcare and climate change. The event will place particular emphasis on the role of innovative models, state initiatives, social entrepreneurs and public-private partnerships in reshaping India’s competitive landscape and aligning its development. Along with more than 600 industry leaders and policymakers from around the world, a delegation of senior Deloitte partners and leaders from the Asia Pacific region will also participate in the summit. Specifically, Chaly Mah, chief executive officer of Deloitte Asia Pacific, will serve as a panelist for a session on risk, discussing six global challenges that threaten India’s future development.
