| Partnering for cyber resilience: Risk & responsibility in a hyperconnected world Deloitte member firms contribute as project advisers to the World Economic Forum initiative. The initiative asks leaders to sign a set of Principles, and offers organizations tools to evaluate and improve their capabilities. |
In a rapidly changing world where information has a significant value, supply chains are interconnected, and there is uncertainty when doing business on a global basis, the security and resilience of operations has become a board level issue. Governments and commercial organizations across the globe are asking the questions, “how do I manage the risks to my digital and physical assets; what threats are posed to my people; do we have the appropriate controls and contingency plans in place to protect our business or respond if something happens; can I rely on my third party business partners to maintain appropriate levels of control for me?”
A World Economic Forum initiative, Risk and Responsibility in a Hyperconnected World: Principles and Guidelines, has been developed over the course of 2011 through a multistakeholder project in which Deloitte member firm consultants served as the project advisors. The report was launched at the Forum’s 2012 Annual Meeting at Davos.
