Deloitte brings Davos to New York |
For some of the attendees of this year’s World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland, the experience began in New York City a few weeks early.
A first for Deloitte, a pre-Annual Meeting reception was held in the Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu (DTT) office in New York on January 8 to encourage participants—both veterans of the Annual Meeting and those attending for the first time—to network before traveling to Davos. The event was well attended by business and Forum leaders, journalists and DTT and US member firm partners.
The Annual Meeting, taking place January 23-27, provides a global platform for leaders to come together to address the major economic, political, social and technological issues facing the world. At this year’s meeting, members of the Deloitte delegation will participate in discussion panels, and DTT Chief Executive Officer Jim Quigley will host a CEO dinner.
