International Student Business Forum draws future leaders |
Publish date:
Recruiting and retaining the world’s most sought-after talent is a key business objective for Deloitte member firms around the world. The International Student Business Forum (ISBF), held from 27 February -1 March 2009, helped to bring the organization one step closer toward that goal.
ISBF is a career and leadership development program for top students from around the world. For participating students, this unique three-day program is an opportunity to develop the skills and experience required for an international career. For Deloitte member firms, ISBF is an opportunity to identify and cultivate relationships with students demonstrating strong leadership potential. Now in its third year, ISBF, is hosted in association with International Institute for Management Development (IMD) Business School in Lausanne. The 2009 program brought together 63 students from more than 20 countries to tackle multi-disciplinary business challenges. For the first time, the 2009 ISBF also welcomed students from outside Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and representatives from the United States, Mexico, and Canada attended.
