Building on Deloitte’s commitment to local communities, Deloitte21 promotes global advocacy and collective action among Deloitte member firms to support education and skills building and prepare underserved young people for success in the 21st century economy.

Deloitte21 includes three components:
- Advocacy—Deloitte will shape the dialogue with leaders on developing skills for the 21st century economy and share leading practices and knowledge locally and globally.
- Leadership—Deloitte’s top talent from around the world will engage in a one-year fellowship to make a positive, tangible impact in education at the local and global level.
- Competition—Through a global competition, Deloitte member firms will generate innovative ideas from educators and invest in those with the most promise for greater impact.
Deloitte people will use their professional skills and intellectual capital to scale innovative programs that help underserved young people develop skills for success in the 21st century economy. Deloitte’s investment through this initiative will:
- support students to attain their education goals
- prepare students to enter higher education
- encourage students to become entrepreneurs
- enable students to develop life skills and gain employment
