Elizma is a partner in the Deloitte Global Employer Services team and has over nineteen years professional experience as a tax advisor.
Elizma provides Employment Tax services to a vast number of clients and is responsible for Deloitte’s Sydney Employment Taxes practice, which includes FBT, Salary Packaging, PAYG, Payroll Tax and Workers Compensation Services.
Elizma has extensive experience in providing Employment Tax advice to clients including consulting and compliance issues, preparation and review of fringe benefits tax returns, development of client based FBT compliance policy manuals and salary packaging. She also provides consulting advice regarding the interaction of FBT and GST, Employment Tax Reviews, Prudential Pre-audit reviews, Contractor Reviews, Due diligence related work, remuneration strategy development and planning opportunities.
She represents the ICAA on the ATO’s NTLG FBT subcommittee providing insight into FBT issues faced by organisations in respect of technical and compliance issues. She also conducts regular seminars for clients in relation to FBT issues.
Her understanding of this specialist area assists with working through revenue authority audits. Elizma also assists her clients with developing communications strategies relating to Employment Tax Reform changes and Employer of Choice issues, including development of information flyers, conducting of seminars and development of HR/FBT policies.
